Need opinions on placement of the following Items.
A. Fuel filter
1. before elec fuel pump
2. after fuel pump
3. after fuel pressure regulator
B. Fuel Pressure gauge
1. As close to the carb as possible
2. as close to the regulator as possible

I would put the regulator and the pressure gauge under the hood. Pressure gauge should be close to the carb and the regulator on the inside fender wall. This way when you make adjustments to your regulator and then you can see the pressure gauge. I am currently moving my regulator from underneath the frame to underneath the hood for that same purpose.

I had my regulator on the inner fender, the fuel filter should go before the fuel pump.

I have always run a filter before the pump like right out of the tank to protect the pump from debris coming out of the tank and one right before the carb. just in case something happens to the pump and the carb will not suck in a bunch of debris from a destroyed pump.
