my car turns over and idles for 2 mins or then starts cutting out for a sec then dies turns over only for a second then dies and then wont start dont know what it is?

Ck your power connections,positive and ground.

altenator? maybe......does it do when its cold only or when its warm to, could be a choke issue, idle mixture, to name a few im no expert

Do you have fuel pressure? When it dies, look inside the carb and open the throttle a few times to see if it is squirting gas.

Plugged fuel filter or plugged screen(sock) at the pickup in the tank?
