Well, Bump in road #1.....

Dropping the gas tank all but ONE bolt came out, bolt clip broken, bolt was rusted.

Ended up cutting the strap, dropped tank, and cleaned it good. Now what? How to remove that bolt with that small access, and replacement strap?

I haven't done it, but someone once posted on here that they used a piece of inner tube to replace a mangled fuel tank strap.

WE got straps from Goodmark for our 70, plus it came with the hardware.

We used bicycle tubes for anti-squeek straps.

Also I think Paddock has gas tank straps but not for 70's but for later years.
