i just installed a summit 272 cam in my 355, will the stock springs handle .465 lift or do i have to change them? i want to have it running by tomorrow so i need to know asap!

I'm not saying they won't work, but for how long?? You can get them from Competition Products, Powerhouse, Midwest Motorsports and others... pdq67 Damon 03-01-2005, 09:26:00 AM Putting in a performance cam but using the stock springs is like leaving a good party at 11:00pm. You're missing half the fun. Yes, stock springs will handle the lift. No, they won't be worth a damn over 4500-5000 RPMs. Crane's recommended 99848 springs are a DROP-IN REPLACEMENT for stock springs. No machining required at all to put them in, so no excuses not to do it. |
