Maybe I have them adjusted wrong. nate tgw323 01-27-2007, 06:26:27 AM I adjusted mine down until it wouldn't run right. Short answer- no. hucks 70 01-27-2007, 01:31:47 PM good lifters ,i had them and removed them .could not stand the noise anymore. blown1981z28 01-27-2007, 01:47:39 PM I went through the same thing. I lived with them. CorkyE 01-27-2007, 02:11:51 PM Mine don't click at 3K, or at least I cant hear them. Rhodes are very sensitive as to how you set the lash. If you don't have the instructions, shoot me a pm and I'll send them to you. camaronate 01-27-2007, 02:28:32 PM The instructions said to adjust hem with the intake off. My intake is on and the car is running. When I did adjust them I set them just like a regular lifter. Nate camaronate 01-27-2007, 02:40:31 PM http://www.amotion.com/tech/caminst.html This company says 1 full turn after chatter stops, when setting the lifters running. I only did 1/4 turn. CorkyE 01-27-2007, 03:02:35 PM Nate - here is a link to Rhoads install website; http://www.rhoadslifters.com/Pages/Installation.html You can adjust them with the intake on, the procedure is a bit different. Hope this helps you. camaronate 01-27-2007, 03:14:48 PM thanks, I am going to try it right now. Nate |
