Their is a new TV show coming out called AMerican fastest. It is a road course followed by a straight away and a slalom course all done in that order. I have been asked to try out for the first series.. Now here is my problem. I know My car will handles and brake extremely well. I feel I am going to need to work on my engine. It is currently a 99 350 with 330 horse factory rated with some extra modification so probably 390 to the rear wheels. I am going to need a stronger motor fast.. I have a friend who will lead my a centrifical supercharger I think it is a procharger with like 10 Psi of boost. What I need to do though is build a 383 that will take the supercharger and probably some nitrous as well for the 1/4 straight away portion WHat parts should I use to make it pretty much bulletproof. Or would I be better off trying to find a sponsor for something like a bill Mitchell motor for that week....HELP HELP PLEEEEEAAAAASSSEE!!!!!!!

If you have 390 to the rear wheels I would think that should be plenty with your suspension upgrades.

You know this isn't going to be cheap... what $'s do you have to spend on the motor.

Marv I havn't figured that out yet because the shows producers are still trying to get some extra money for the prize right now which is what i need to figure for me to adjust my budget. As of right now the competion that i know of is a 800 rear wheel drive syclone set up for the strip so i should be able to beat him on the reast of the course pretty easy. A Dodge charger with about 500 horses and a 727 but some small tires and not a great suspension and their would be quite a few other cars... My biggest concern is that i don't want to make a fool of my self but mostly my car and the chevy and camaro name against some f'en ricer....
