I know I'm not the only one running TPI in this group, show me how you did your air cleaner please. Right now I'm running the K&N off the throttle body and I want to get a little cooler air to it after the head swap, I need ideas.

Hook me up

I put one of those filters on my wife's 89 Ranger when the airbox fell apart (due to my accident). Made it sound alot 'ruffer' and got some better mileage. :)

I think you might need to do some custom pipe work to get a CAI setup working....

No doubt there. With the A/C condenser in the way on the sides of the radiator, the only place I can think to pull cold air is through the inner fender in front of the wheel. But that is going to cause some issues with water. With the head change and the intake modifications I want to see if I can pull air from in front of the radiator and move the IAT to the air tube. It should help, if I can just find a way to get it all up there.

Dave, you can check out my website. If you recall from seeing my car on the last cruise, I have an air duct running down the back of the radiator with an air cleaner poking out the bottom.

I appreciate the pictures guys. Funny enough, your cars are what I used as examples when I did swapped to TPI. I have basically the same set up as 71RS-TPI, and with the Crown Victoria fan no room to run it like ULTM8Z. I'm hoping to get the air intake from in front of the radiator.
