I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the flowtech dual exhaust kit Flowtech 51555FLT ? I am curious on how it fits around the axle and how the tail pipes are. Thinking about putting this on my 79. I have the inline 6 in it with 2 shorty headers. So i figured i could just run some flex pipe temporarily to the dual exhaust pipes. My main concern is how it fits in the rear.

Also would consider the summit kit SUM-680100 if anyone has any experience with that one too.

Isn't there anyone out their that has bought one of these? Im just mainly conserned about tailpipe clearance. I had bought the dynomax ones a while back and they turned out to be junk because they hit everything.

Ya should have asked before buying the "Dyno-Craps" kit, I always try to steer people away from that kit-did ya notice its not even mandrel bent like they claim, in addition to not fitting! I've got pics somewhere of the dynomax tailpipes laying next to the Hooker pipes, massive difference.
That Summit kit doesnt look bad at all, especially for that price. I've been running the "cheap" Summit mufflers on mine for 3 years now and they sound great (not super loud). I've also been using the Hooker pipes, summit p/n HOK-16520HKR
Its the 3rd set of Hooker pipes I've used on 2nd gens and they always fit perfect. But, considering how cheap that Summit kit is, I say go for that one!
Wow, I havent been at Summit in a long time! When did they change thier webpage?

i think they updated the site a 1 or 2 weeks ago. Does anyone have an idea on how much they would charge for shipping?
Thinking about the flowtech because i can get them through advance. This would mean 20% off and no shipping http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/cool.gif . Plus i could return easily. The downside is that i would have to buy mufflers seperatly with flowtech. However if i hear that the summit fits great, then i would rather get that.
One last question, what is the loudest muffler on the market other then anything dynomax? This car is way to quiet with the dynomax super turbo on it now.
Thanx for the replies

The Summit kit is very nice for the money. You have to do some minor tweeking, but I would definitely buy it again. I got the 2.25 kit and it was only $119, mufflers and all!

What kind of tweeking did you experience if you dont mind me asking? And again no dynomax lol, i had it out with them on the phone with their half ass tailpipes and they refused to do anything with it. Not to mention that they never return phone calls.
