Rick WI 02-12-2005, 10:15:00 PM The header tubes are VERY long and the mufflers are extremely, bordering on the absurd, restrictive. I say if you want to go slower bolt em up. It takes a lot different camshaft just to work with the long tubes, let alone try to make power with those silly pencil sized muffler inserts. leapenlou 02-12-2005, 10:46:00 PM I never thought of that, I was just looking for an easy way out, I have no exhaust system on yet. thanks BlownBigBlock 02-13-2005, 12:10:00 AM Although what Rick is said with the inserts made by hooker, there are other companies (JCL) I believe that is making a twist type insert that flows rather well. You can go over to the www.corvetteforum.com (http://www.corvetteforum.com) - C3 Section. Those guys have used them quite extensively. |
