This may be a dumb question but well hear it goes.So I bought a new Eddy air gap RPM Manifold & a new holley 750 dbl pmp & I set the carb on the manifold today just to get a look at my new $hit & I saw that the rear bowl on the dbl pmp 750 covers the 3/8 npt tapped hole for the power brake boster fitting. On my old set up this wasn't an issue becuase I was using an eddy performer & a single pump 600 so there was pleanty of clearence. Now what do I do? How do I plumb in a fitting for the breaks? I was wondering if I could run it off the one of the valve cover openings? Does that generate enough vacuum? Please some one Help! Pictures of your setup would be great too!
Thanks

Nope, no vacuum at the valve covers unless you've got the world's crazyest small block Chevy. I think you're looking at a carb spacer and a 90* vacuum fitting (3/8" NPT with a 3/8" hose nipple on the other end).
Or you can T into the PCV line off the big 3/8" port on the back of the carb (not my preferred way of going).

Edelbrock makes a low profile fitting for that vacuum port. You should be able to pick one up wherever you bought your manifold. Part # is 8096, and here's a link to the fitting http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product2_10001_10002_743629_-1

I just got rid of the metal line and ran a rubber line to one of the vacuum ports on the base of the carb.

$10 for that fitting ?
I'd rather spend the time at Home Depot or Ace Hardware (hell, even Sears Hardware) looking for that then spending the $.
