i just did a timing chain on my car for a double roller and i cant get the cover back on.
The oil pan seal is one piece and i cant the cover over it. i need help big time on this one
t ried just about everything.

You have to drop the front of the pan.

Timing chain covers can be a bitch. I've used small screwdrivers to line up the holes then levered it in. But since you have a one piece pan gasket I'm not sure how to fix it.

I trimmed two sides of the cover so i can slip mine off and on without touching the pan
if i had an old cover laying around id take a pic and post it I'm sure someone else does surely others do this

You need to make that 1 piece pan gasker into a 3 piece now then loosen the first 3 pan bolts 3/4 out then it'll fit. Remember to use RTV on all areas that were cut. I really like using nothing but RTV for the front and rear pan area.

i losen the first three pand bolts but what do you mean by maken it a 3 piece seal? should i just cut that one piece out and put the one i got with the seal kit and RTV the hell out of it?

never had to drop the pan to install a timing cover and have done this numerou times with no leaks. just cut the oil pan gasket on each side of the pan.when installing put the gasket around the bottom lip and snot it up with sealant
