Tuxedo 71 SS 01-15-2007, 11:21:35 AM Check out the VIN decoding section on our page...it'll tell you everything you need to know.... Chris77Z28 01-15-2007, 12:26:24 PM Click on this link. Then scroll down to the VIN decodeing thing and click. http://www.nastyz28.com/forum/archive/index.php/ Gary S 01-15-2007, 01:20:48 PM RS isn't coded into the cowl tag or the VIN. It is just a trim option like deluxe interior. The VIN will tell you what engine the car originally had. From that you will know if the car had the Z28 or SS performance package. In 1972, all Camaros were Sport Coupes. They just have different options. eightyZ28 01-15-2007, 02:52:42 PM Thanks! It has the "H" code...350ci so I know it wasn't an SS or Z28 It has all the markings of RS...maybe I'll get lucky one day and find the build sheet and get the whole story. :) (yeah right..) |
