Well I am still working on the 95 LT1 That has no oil to the rocker arms. I have done some investigations and all the galley plugs are installed and after using a manual gauge found it has 55psi plus with a drill turing 600 rpms (1200 engine). So it has plenty of oil pressure so why no oil to the rockers? I know now it has to be a lifter, camshaft, pushrod, or/and rocker problem. The cam is a comp hyd roller with a reduced base circle, the lifters are stock gm roller lifters (origional), stock hardened push rods and crane gold 1.6 rockers. Could the reduced base circle be causing he problem? I mean it has basicly no oil to the rockers. This is after 15-20min of running and another 20 min post disassembly lubing with drill. I did prelube it and some oil came out the rocker but it took a LONG time and it was very little, thought is was just my dieing drill. Anyone?

You might check the oil pump screen to make sure its not too low in the pan

Check the oil groove in the lifter. I might be dropping below the oil hole in the block with the reduced base circle cam.

But that is kind of a long shot...

I checked the groove to hole and it isn't dropping out the bottom. I am not sure it isn't covering the hole with the top of the lifter but that is kinda a long shot as well.

What prelube did you use? The red gooey stuff, or something similar?

I've seen people use it on the cups in the lifters as well as the ends of the pushrods where they meet the rockers, and guess what. It clogged the holes in some of the pushrods.

That red gooey stuff needs a lot of oil running by it in order to wash it away. Since there isn't exactly a lot of oil running through pushrods anyway, it can take a long time for them to clear out.

Maybe try removing the pushrods and cleaning them out with compressed air and/or a thin wire.

I only soaked the lifters in oil (they are factory roller lifters). But I did add a little lubriplate to the ends of the push rod. I have cleaned few of the lifters and checked the pushrods. I still have no oil at the the rockers. This problem is driving me crazy. I have spent multiple hours at this guys house trying to fix it. It is also keeping me from working on my 80 Camaro. I checked and if the lifter groove drops below the galley hole it would leak to the top, very small upper land on the lifter. It has good oil pressure for a stock pump at 55Psi+ (the gauge 0s about 5psi lower than the 0 mark)
Thanks for helping me thus far.

I posted it there as well but no answers and I am already on the 2nd page. Guess eather they don't know or don't care. I am about to do the prostock method. When prostock has problems they can't solve they just throw everything away and buy all new. A local mechanic buddy suggested trying the old rockers that the new ones may have poor geometry and be sealing the oil in. I really don't belive that could be it but I am ready to jump on one foot and rub my tummy if it will fix it.

I had this exact same problem with my small block and i'll bet ya you got the same problem. When the machinist installed the rear cam bearing he didn't push it all the way back in the bore and it left the oil groove exposed. I had great oil pressure but no oil to the top end. By having the groove exposed it would not pass oil down through to the lifters and up the pushrods.
