Ok i got my carb hooked up all good and i put my battery on .. but i don't think my cousin put the linkage on correctly .. one of the things isn't hooked up .. i don't know if that has anything to do with my car not starting!!! i had everything hoooked up and tryed to start my car but it wont turn over.. it just makes noise ...and i saw a BLUE FLAME come out of my carburator.. (i think that's bad..) the air filter isn't on so....??? and does anyone know how to hook up the linkage ?

This is why you never never ever buy one of those POS foam air cleaners.

Question - didya have the distributor out ?

If it was, it sounds like its 180 out...

no i haven't touched the distributor. and the air cleaner wasn't even on the car. don't know if that made a difference.
