Above the oil filter on the L/H side of the block

Above the filter is where I put them. Works for me.

you mean that 1/2 inch hole?? Is that where the factory put them??

Or the driver's side front just above the pan rail. (on the side)

Yep, that's where I've got my electric oil pressure gauge sender. There's a hex key plig there that didn't look like a plug to me, but it was.

I 'heard' that the front is the better of the 2 since oil has already gone thru the system and willl give you a more real pressure reading....it'll be a little lower than the other spot above the filter, but if you actually have -0- pressure then its the real deal, not just a bypass messup or something....
