I need to get a decent tool to install the inner springs with the heads on the car.I have a cheap screw type at home which works fine for single springs but the jaws won't grip the inners. Any suggestions?

They make a lever-type deal that hooks to the rocker stud and just mashes down on the retainer. I think harbor freight has them -

The lever type will work GOOD as long as you have time to wait for mankind to evolve into having an extra arm or two. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif

Moroso stud mount "on the head" spring compressor #62370, will be the LAST one you ever have to buy. Will work on head with rocker stud's (3/8 or 7/16") and I've used it on springs with 600pounds compressed,, works like one 'should' and only requires TWO hands! (even if those hands have 10 thumbs like mine)

Thanks guys. I went and picked up the proform version of that compressor. Looks like it should do the job
