I'm putting a 350 V8 in next year, but for now I'm looking to get more power out of my 229 V6. I'm looking for 4 barrel intake for a V6 engine so I can put a 4 barrel carb on. My problem is that I can't find one anywhere. Do they even exist?

Won't a 4-barrel intake off an early 4.3 L. V-6 work??

I think they came stock with a Q-Jet on them in the Van's....

A Q-Jet might help you some but I don't think you will find it worth the effort if you are planning on changing engines anyway. So, don't spend a lot on this intake.

However...
If you can get a Q-jet working well for you, you can use it on your V8 next year with just a little tweaking! :D

Available from Summit and all the usual places. Used one a few summers ago when I was building a 4.3L for my brother. 229 is the same engine family and it'll bolt right on.
