My uncle gave me an engine block that was in his shed for 30 years or so. He got it from a wrecking yard to pirate parts off it . It's a 2 bolt, casting # 3956618. These were used for 302,327 and 350's in 1969. Is this block desirable for you Z-28 guys? Convert to 4 bolt mains and it is a correct casting for 69 Z-28's , right? I was going to build it for my 67 Chevelle, but i don't care about dates or casting #'s.

I see the suffix has been decoded already, but I'll just say it anyway... if its a 2-bolt block, it wasn't a 302.
