Sounds like a pretty good choice for a 327.

Isn't that a factory 327 cam?

What is it, an Extreme type cam?

Anyway, it appears to be a dandy for a 327, imho!!

my wife had a cam with those same specs in her 350 in an 81 camaro sounded nice for a street car ran okay too.

That will work OK in a 327. A very lazy lobe on that cam so it's not going to make a ton of power but should be a nice driver.

Here is a little bit of info on how much more radical a solid roller lifter cam lobe is versus a standard such as yours. My advertised duration is very close to yours, 306 intake and 306 exhaust, .704 lift. My duration at .050 though is 260/265 versus your 218/228. Only reason that caught my eye was I just got the cam ground and delivered yesterday and have the cam card on the desk right in front of me.

Pretty good cam for a 327.

I ran a 216/228* @ .050 272/284* with .454"/.480" lift with 1.5 rocker in a .030" over 327 and .030" over 350

Sounded alot wilder in the 327, had goobs of top end power. Alittle tame in my 350, not as much top end, but alot more low end

Rick- 305/319 aren't his advertised duration specs. They're lobe lift at the cam.

Advertised duration on that cam would be somewhere around 270/280. It's a LOT smaller than your roller in every way.

That's a real good cam for a stock head 327, or if you're using Vortecs. What brand is it?

That makes more sense. Thought that looked funny. Thought that lobe looked really really lazy.

advertised duration is in-266 ex-278. It is a cam made by clevite. I was told it has factory specs for a factory 327 corvette.

rode2nowhere... Whats the LSA on that cam? I bet it's 114 or so.

Like I said my 272/284..216/228 @.050" crane in my .030" over 327 sounded wild, but the LSA is 112.

The wider the LSA the more vac it gives, and smoother idel, along with alot more stuff dealing with the power curve, etc but I wont get into that

The lsa is 114, whenever this engine has to come out it will get some extreme modifying, has to be done.

That's not a stock cam..

I have all of the stock cam spec's saved..

Check out this 'Vette cam spec. site.
