My wife tried to open the door before it was totaly unlocked an bam lock doesn't work and door only half release's......can see inside door look's like other side as far as part's moving but can't get door open......Any idea's and by the way just got her back from the body shop she's all primer sweet an smooth waiten for her motor and final paint....BUT gotta get the door fixed any help would be gratefuly apprec. thanks all

That happened to me years ago...the door latch assembly failed...door would not open...then while driving I went over a bump and the door flew open(luckily I was going slow and grabbed it)...if that's what you need Eckler's has repos for about $100.
