I have a 454 in my 73 Z-28. The fuel filter has two lines coming out of the bottom and onee on top. Does nayone know why and can I just take it out and eliminate the extra line? I was going to put a glass filter.

The seals between the glass tube and the ends can leak, the glass can overheat and crack, or shake, hit something a bust. Plus they don't flow too well If you want a clear fuel filter get a clear plastic fram bell shaped filter The one with 3/8" nipples is farm part # G3, 5/16" nipples part # G2. They are much safer, filters better and flows alot better CASPOS69 01-16-2005, 05:02:00 PM Prob. a return fuel line outlet. Do you have a return fuel line? If you do, run it out of you stock fuel pump and run a regular filter. Joe Nastycop 01-16-2005, 08:53:00 PM Yes it has a return line. The pump only has two lines on in one out. How would I get hooked up to the return line Is the return line for fuel or vapors? [This message has been edited by Nastycop (edited January 16, 2005).] |
