Anyone try a 'Performance Products' intake manifold? I never heard of them until today. I'm trying to find a good aluminum intake for my 454 that will fit under the stock hood. They have have a low rise intake for the bbc. Are they a good competitor to Edelbrock or are they just a cheap generic brand?

I used one on my old setup. no complaints here, it was the polished version & looked pretty good for the $.

I would do it again, if i hadnt got a deal on a SuperVic.

I have seen their manifolds and it is cool that they are so cheap the only problem with them is that they are not american made and that they steal american companies money and designs. I would spend the extra maney and buy an edelbrock weiand brodix or offenhauser manifold... FU*K the CHinese because with the new FAvored nation status with them they are going to take away alot of american jobs...

It's too late b/c the job's are already gone!!

Now they are trying to figure out how to outsource the higher paying, middle to lower upper income jobs!!

And when that happen's, I figure we have two generations until all the old middle class money that Grandpa and Grandma, and Mom and Dad have canned up is gone and then we will be in BIG trouble..

I'm runnin one on a Vortec headed 355 and love it. The fit and finish were excellent.

I try to buy American when I can, but Edelbrock is really letting me down by not having a decent lowrise bbc intake that will fit under the hood.

Hey did you know that BF Goodrich is a FRENCH company?? Next time, I'm buyin' Goodyear Eagles!

they seem to be good... next intake i need i'll probebly be buying one...
