Hey guys....this probably stupid question but what you call the plugs you put in the water outlet going to the heater hoses...they just screw in to plug up the hole and same for the intake manifold?....hate going to the part store and not knowing what part I want.....lol:confused:

pipe plugs, but your going to need to know what size you need.

I used brass plugs from the hardware store. Gave them a little polish and they looked pretty good.

If it's just temporary they also sell a little package of rubber caps especially for blocking off the heater outlets, two small and two large that you can put on with hose clamps.

Can't remember if it's Checker's or Advanced (sure they do at either or), anyways - I bought the 2 packages of plugs they had, worked great 4 me.

just putting them in for couple weeks until I can get around to putting a new heater core in....is it hard to put a heater core and blower motor in?

Makes sure and use some sort of anti-seize lube when you install the plugs. More likely than not, those plugs will get stuck forever in the holes after they have been in for a while.
