thats how i screwed up the plugs wires, coils and ignition plate with those bad plugs

thats what my cousin says.. he has a 96 firebird and hes been treating it like crap. But anyways.. he changed the plugs to some fancy "high performance" ones now hes saying they caused his whole ignition system to screw up.. I personally thing thats a load of bs... am i in the wrong? he hit a rabbit and broke part of his inner wheel well and never bother to fix it.. so water was spraying up into his engine compartment right where the engine fusebox is.. Its corroded beyond believe now. he says the ignigtion was acting up before that though.. i still think hes full of it.. help me out lol.. its a 3.8 liter though

i have this posted in bs but thought it might be better here.

it amazes me that people have these cars and treat them like crap. my wife drives a 90 SC T-Bird. it has 190,000 miles on it and to date all i have had to replace is the water pump. i think this is because we treat all of our vehicles with care. we have 2 cars and 3 trucks.
