Holley 600 vac secondary. The choke horn was 'CUT' off....and the vac secondary part isn't even there. If it was a mech 2ndary then you'd have a 2nd pumper pot like on the front bowl, but on the rear bowl.

That carb looks like a parts donor to me in that shape...ehhhkkk

Ok, well. Ive cleaned it up with diesel and polished it some, looks pretty nice now.
Think it looks worse then it is because the valve cover ventilation tubes where drawn behind the carb!!?

hmm, will it run like crap when I miss one of the pumps? like bog down when I give it full throttle?

Yep that's an 0-1850 vacuum secondary carb. Someone removed the vac. sec. pod and stuck a screw in the other side to make it appear to be a mech. secondary. Time to order a vac. secondary pod, and remove that screw!

i have run into this before. if you measure the throttle blades you can then compare them with another carb. and yes this carb will have a big bog when the secondarys oper due to lack of initial fuel. i use a mill to remove the choke horns and then stamp the pn# back on the carb for future referance.
