Any ideas where I can find the air cleaner duct assembly that mounts to the air cleaner and the rad support for a 79 Z28????

The part number you need is 477045, it includes the flexible duct and the inlet. I did a quick search on Partsvoice with no luck, you could try other NOS sources, but I think you'll have a hard time finding one.

I picked one up for my 79 Z28 over 11 years ago, and I think they discontinued it shortly after that.

I found a flexible tube that worked last year... I already had the scoop piece in the front. It isn't exact but it looks pretty close to original.

I think the air cleaner for the 79 had an oval end on the snorkle but this tube can be squished into an oval shape with no problem. It is a round tube but it fit the oval end on the scoop perfectly once it was reshaped.
