I just bought a new pick-up and the new one is way shorter than my old one. The old one was long. Is this right is the car pick-up short kinda like a sbc? Im not sure if my engine had the large truck pan or not. Thanks for the help

I compared them its just a little longer...not way....

Yes, there are two (maybe three) different tube lengths- proper "truck" pans are an inch or two deeper all around the pan than the "passenger car" pan and have a longer tube to account for this (alot of trucks with 2-bolt 454s also had shallow pans on them- so just because the engine is out of a truck doesn't mean much- you need to physically see the pan you're going to use).
