Who has a BB in thier 78-81 camaro? Did tall valve covers clear the stock brake booster??
or do you need short??
I have both I just need to know if I need to clean up the greasy short covers

Use the short ones. I don't know if you'd ever get the L/h valve cover off if it was a tall one.

i had my tall covers on my tall deck with the 81 turbo ta brake booster, and they were about 1/8" away

I tried the tall plastic covers on mine and they wouldn't fit without modification.

I used "tall" Moroso aluminum covers and they cleared A-OK- but they weren't all that tall anyways, I had to install 2 gaskets on each side to keep the roller rockers from bouncing off the covers.

i used a set of moroso sheet metal ones on mine and they hit the booster. but its on a 70.
