Hey guys,
While at Carlisle, I picked up under the engine hood insulation. My car is all original, but never had this.(not sure if it was an option back in '77)My question is, while looking at Jeff Betz's old yellow Z, I noticed that the insulation was put on with the fiber side facing out, and smooth black side up against the hood.
Is this correct? The Camaro parts guy I bought the insulation from, said it should be installed with the fiber side up against the hood, smooth black side facing out.
