I lived in Aspen for a few years as a ski bum...the best day of the year was when the lifts opened...the 2d best day was the first time it snowed (for those with the energy to hike up Ajax for 3 hours and then get a half run in). Gotta love the white when you live in CO. Good luck.

Yo! Dried out fast up here, after alot of water and slush accumulated in the AM. Guess the south, and some of the mountains, really got dumped on. Didn't dive the Camaro to work! Todd.

Yo! Good spot, huh?! I moved here with my family when I was in my early teens. Now, long since settled here with my wife, I'm not going anywhere,...I have 3.5 acres of beautiful wooded pasture and horses. Thirty minutes and I'm in the mountains. Y'all shoulda seen this state 35 years ago! What a paradise! Still a bit like that,...Todd.

i heard they dont salt the roads in CO, does that mean you guys get to drive through winter?

Yo! maverick! Used to be just sand,...now they supplement with methylene chloride. I haven't seen results of corrosion from the methylene chloride yet, and it's been in use for the last five to ten years. Sure leaves an awful white haze on your car that doesn't just rinse off!! Still beats salt corrosion!! I just wash whenever possible during the winter months. My car is on the road all year 'round,...but I drive my 4WD beater when the roads are nasty,...mostly 'cause the Camaro's power is hard to handle in snow and ice conditions! Todd.

Yo! All!
Completed a full tune, oil change, etc,...two weeks ago, with a good friend's sixteen year old in attendance. The youngster desired to learn some mechanics, so I started with an "anatomy and physiology" lesson using an old Fiat 4 cylinder that's dissassembled and rests in my shop. Then we went thru the proper sequence for oil and filter change, and a full ignition tune up with air filter cleaning and fuel filter change while the engine drained. Fluid check, and then a powerbraked qmile or two after warmup and second fluid check. Seems like I was able to pass along alot of info,...hope it absorbed! He would like to come out again when I have more engine projects going, and seemed rather interested when we talked, at length, about supercharging and turbocharging. I had a blast! I wouldn't sell him my car (he's asked several times over the last year), but I tried to convince him that he could build a similar car with some knowledge and my help. We'll see if he's willing to try. Todd.

Yo! JOHNNYMO! Again, I love your signature phrase,...all eleven of my machines came to me that way! Eyeballing another right now! It's a '40 Chev P/U. Haven't seen pics of your Z car and vette,...got any you can post here? Went hiking today with the old lady and the dog in Wyo's Medicine Bow forest,...it was great! On the way back I saw a beautiful purple with white stripes '73 Z headed north on 85. Some kid driving. Glad I didn't have my Stealth, 'cause I might've been bad, turned 180, and gave him a run! Todd.

Yo! All! Damn, almost forgot!! Hit 15.6 mpg average after the last tune I spoke of! That's better than the '88 Bronco that I took to Medicine Bow today! And that's producing 325 to 350HP and over 400 ftlbs torque with a 2.79:1 rear gear,...I know my qmile is less than 16 seconds and I pass on the highway going from 65mph to about 90 in three to four seconds. Nice to commute in! Todd.
