I have two , both are warped sagged out in the center .
Is there anything I can do to get the proper shape back in the headliner board .I have the new Vinyl material to glue on , but don't want to take this on until I get the cardboard backing looking good .
Thanks

I had a friend with a nova that had the same problem, he glued thin strips of 1" wide wood across the sagging area and then flipped it over and weighted it down for a couple of days. I have used fiberglass to repair the dog ears on the sides where the seat belts go. Also they are selling replacments made out of ABS, I've not use one but have not heard any negitives either.

Sorry to bring this post back from the dead, but, I am interested in the ABS version of my headliner. My headliner is long since gone, and am in need of the entire thing. I would prefer somthing that is made out of some sort of foam like material, not the origional weird plastic stuff glued to cardboard.

Any sugestions?

Thanks

Okay after doing some MORE searching, do you guys know where the most affordable place to purchase a black abs headliner is?

Thanks

I ordered mine(ABS coverd with foam backed black vinyl) from Camaros and Classics on 2/4/05,along with some other things. Everything has arrived except the headliner and the sunvisors. Headliner was $139.95 AFHFBH1. Freight charge seemed quite high, though. Package tray and door panels in one box, not sure about the headliner and sunvisors. $75 freight on FedEx and still dont have the headliner. Unusual, as they are normally pretty quick.
They also sell just the ABS backing. Camaros and Classics has it for $99.95 AFH21, Year One $108 HB7481, Moementum Camaro $$99.95 AFH21.

Don't know about cheapest, but for comparison;
NPD Sells a black ABS pre-cut and formed headliner board for $99.95 plus $20.00 bucks shipping.
Part# C-HLB-1A
California Depot # 1-800-235-3445

Sounds like it is drop shipped directly from manufacturer. If you could figure out who that is and buy direct, might save a few bucks.

Thanks for all the help guys! I went ahead and ordered it from npd. I said it should arrive in about four days. I look foward to this replacement. I just think its alittle overpriced.. I mean come on, its a freakin peice of plastic!

Glad they make one though.

Now I just need to go to the fabric store and get some nice foam black fabric and glue it on, and one more headache is done with!

Thanks again for all your help!
