I just got done installing a FAST XFI with holley stealth ram on '71 Z. Anyone have any ideas for cold air induction?

Do a google search for TPI cold air induction setups. Most of them route the air up from the chin spoiler or directly under it.

Can you use the high pressure area in front of the radiator support?

If you get me your Email Address I will send you some pics of my intake system on my Stealthram.

I can't go down to the sway bar. The guy who owned my car before me decided to put in a radiator that was too tall. To solve the prob he rigged up a new support to drop the radiator a couple inches. So I would still be drawing in 200* radiator air. What size tubing is needed 3", 4"??

Here is what I did. It doesn't run through the firewall yet. i have the battery moved, so the filter is there. At a later time i will build an air box where the battery was located, and run a duct through the fenderwell pan from beneath the spoiler, or a duct will be cut into the spoiler itself. I plan to do this so the filter is not directly in contact with water! Also snaking 4" pipe around the radiatior is really tough. I too have a large radiator that i dropped the mounts 2" to clear the hood. I have a really good source for the 4" aluminum tubing and rubber bends, I also removed 1/2" off the Stealthram base and reported for additional hood clearance. It will fit under a flat hood with some work!

This is a nice setup Keith. I plan on doing something simliar to your airbox idea for my Stealth Ram except on both sides and use a Y-pipe on the end of the throttle body tube.
