make that Cleveland PA and the second stop is Kalamazoo MI

I have heard that this trip may run up from Kalamazoo through the U.P. and then down to racine! I sure hope so, I will def. have to try to make this one!

PT starts in Cleveland Ohio, then Kalamazoo MI, Racine WI, Springfield IL, Evansville IN, Memphis TN, and last Little Rock, ARk.

We will hook up with them in Springfield, IL, go to Evansville, Memphis & Little Rock then back home to Okla!

Anyone going to Springfield or Evansville?

anyone else from around st. louis that would want to run a leg to springfield? it would be fun to meet and go up together.

when is it? and would we drive from stl to springfield? or what route?

PT starts June 2 in Cleveland and will be in Springfield IL June5.

I just got rooms and registered for the legs from Racine to Memphis. Whoever has not gone on this will certainly be in for a treat. It's well worth the vacation time and expense.

I have to go see a customer in a second otherwise I'd post the hotels we are reserved at. There is no reason we can't hook up. I have instructed ACE that he is a putz ball if he doesn't make this PT and have talked to Jody about hooking up again this year. His posse is ALWAYS fun to hand out with in the hotel parking lots over 12 to 100 beers.

Two years ago the Motel owner liked us all so much in Indy that he started getting us beers out of his own stash. THAT was service and that was a GREAT evening on PT.

So, yes we all have to hook up and hang/drive the routes together. Especially in case I break down!

Oh that is going to make me get my ass in gear. I really wanted to take my car on the next power tour to come thru the midwest and it is going to go right past me. I dont know if I can have the car ready by then buy I sure would love to be able to go.

yea, i definitely want to go, but given the fact that im getting married on june 8 and have a whole hell of a lot to do that last week, i dont think it would go over too well with the fiance, ha.

This will be a true test of the love of your new bride al. Call this a training run prior to the offical event. Guys like us, with this hobby, MUST learn to train our spouses EARLY AND OFTEN.

haha, my fiance is having a hard enoguh time with ALL the parts that are coming in as im building a 454 and spending money that could have meant a nicer honeymoon. she hasnt asked me to sell the car yet, so ill try not to push it around the wedding time. ill wait til we are married, then bring up more car stuff.

i just found some bad news today. i found a part of the valve dampner last week in the oil. think it was just that, i went ahead and pulled the motor just in case. found, i wore 4 lobes off the cam. that is 2 cams in only 4000 miles. everytime i get money in the bank, my engine or something goes south.
i am wondering if the machine shop had to high pressure on the springs cuase the solid lifter to wear down and also break dampner. i have at least 4 dampner broke and the heads were redone with all new hardware jsut over 200 miles ago. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

i am thinking about just building since i want to buy a forged rotating assembly.
