I've located the original woven vinyl material for my seats and door panels. NOW, I have to figure out how the door panels should be. I currently have 78 deluxe panels on the car with soft cloth inlay. They're black.

I plan on possibly redying the vinyl perimeter and inlaying the woven vinyl where the soft cloth is currently. Would this be the correc look? Is the inlay the same size for 75 and 78? Thanks

I think the LT door panels are different for 75/76/77 and for 78-on. But I could be wrong...

I have an almost entirely original 76 LT. I can send photos of the door panels if that would be any help.

Good to see some interest in the 75/76/77s!

Thanks Dave and turf. Yes Turf, I'd love to have some pics if you didn't mind. Are yours vinyl weave or cloth.

I've found out the panels I have on mine are actually 77 LT panels which I now believe are the same as the 75LT panels in dimensions.

I don't know about the dimensions thing. I've never gotten into switching parts much. My panels are the plaid cloth. I know they are original for that car. I dont know if they also had a vinyl weave that year. It'd look cool though. Do you want me to post the pics on here or email them to ya? I'll take them after i get back from the tire shop, I blew a front this morning.. I hate mondays!!

My door panels have the knit vinyl type insert. I'll email pictures in the next few days.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the emails. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get back to original condition. As you 75 guys know, the seats, door panels, and that @#$^%& fender/air cleaner piece are the real boogers!

Yesterday, I ventured into a probable meth lab to inquire about a 75 in rusted pieces with ALL the parts I needed only to be told he wasn't interested in selling that one. Meaning most likely it's stolen and he doesn't want to risk arrest! You'd think $300 for a non-running, half gone Camaro would be a God-sent to a guy living in a 20 foot single wide here at Christmas time. So the search goes on!

Assuming its the same piece we are talking about, you might want to kill me. I am not sure if i still have it http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/frown.gif I took it off this summer, and i believe it is still in the backseat of my car, i dont like to throw away stuff. However, there is a chance that i did. I'll go outside in a few minutes and check for ya.

Oops, see that you don't have email. I'll pay for it or can swap you the following for it, all with less than 100 miles on it:

Edelbrock air cleaner
Edelbrock tall chrome valve covers
K&N 4 inch filter
Edelbrock Performer Intake

All this stuff is basically brand new. If this doesn't interest you, I'll definitely get cash to you. Let me know. Call me if you can, collect is fine: 479-782-5333, thanks again.

My phone got turned off today.. stupid roommate.. my email is hbrando@clemson.edu, and my aim sn is golfer1275 if you need to get ahold of me.

I just checked my car. I could not find it by feeling around in all the junk in the back. I dont have a flashlight handy though. I'll keep looking. If i dont have it, there is a almost complete parts car at a junkyard next to my house here at school. I could check there for any parts you need, I think its a 76 camaro.

I just looked around at some of your other posts. Do you need copies of the orginal sales brocures and ads and stuff? I have every one that i have ever come across. it fills up a notebook. I could scan and send you that stuff if you think the pics might help some. The same goes for every other 75 owner out there..

I would love to have the sales brochures and "stuff" for the 75. I have had mine since 1984.

Cool, I'll try to scan it this week. I can either email it, post it on the web, or send you a cd. Your call. The only thing I do not have is the 8 page brochure, but that is posted on here by madmike.

I was going to email you when i got home. I did not find it in my car, but I know for a fact that I did not throw it away. I remember keeping it because of the whole "one day i might want to make it original again" thing. Which I am not going to do. I will keep looking around my house and the maintenance shop where I work part time. It HAS to be in one of those places. I am going to go to a few junkyards around here on friday and look for your other stuff, and if i find that plastic piece there before i found mine, i'll just pick one up. I'm really sorry I havent found it yet. I will definately keep you posted.
