I know this topic has been explained but after a headliner search i still have a question regarding the installation. i have the bow type headliner and have followed other peoples advice on the installation. my question is should i glue the headliner in between the bows? to me the outcome would resemble something left in a toilet. i have put fat matt on my inner roof, plus with the wires for the dome light, it seems that would only be accented if i where to glue the sections between the bows. i can see where adhesive would be needed on the sides and at the front and back but not any where else. also do the 72's have a piece of trim for the front and back that would run along the window the cover up the tack strip or is the only piece that plastic channel that fits directly in front of the rear window and directly behind the front. i seems that there could be one more piece that could fit between that and the tack strip. thanks.

Dont glue the headliner between the bows.Yes,there is a plastic and rubber trim that holds the headliner in place. You have to have that metal bracket for the trim to slip into place.
