I'm going to retrofit an early style dash (70-78) into my '80 this winter. There are a few changes I have to make to the switch configuration, such as the position of the headlight and wiper switches, cig lighter and defogger switches.

Questions are: the headlight and wiper switches, can I use the same ones from the '80 dash in the early dash or are the mounting points different? The 2 switches just have to be moved poopsite eash other in the earlier dash. Right now, the wiper switch is above the headlight switch. In the early dash, the headlight switch is above the wiper, and the wiper switch is also rotated at 90*.
The early defogger switch, the mounting point in the gage bezel is round, in the later dash it is square. anyone know where I can get an early style defogger switch to fit? I checked Classic Ind, and they don't have it listed. I will get everything from Moementum anyway. Last time I checked with him, he didntt have any.

there were different style 70-78 wiper switches, rectangular and square; I think I have one, but not sure which. do you have the bezel yet? Also I should have an extra defogger switch laying around, but can't be sure it works. You can have them but it will take me a while to dig them out (I'll be away ynext week). Usually I see broken bezels at swaps and they have all that stuff attached for cheap.

I don't have anything yet. I'm getting my brain together to make sure I know what I need before I take the project on. But thanks! The bezels that they offer in resto mags, I think they are for 70-73, I wasn't sure how different they were throughout the years. I have absolutely no swap meets near me. It really sucks here.
