I just picked up a 79 Berlienetta, and Im not too fond of the insrument bezel. Is there anyway to swap out a dash from an early 70s camaro with the wrap around cluster? Thanks-

If I remember correctly the 70-78's have the same style of dash pad and 79-81 are the same. I don't know if they mount the same but the 70-78's are cheaper.
You can also make a bezel out of aluminum for your 79. It isn't that hard and a few members have done it.

the dash pads are interchangeable thru all years it just takes alot of work to do and alot of parts. THe sheetmetal from the firewall to the back of the doors was not changes thru out the 2nd gen.

I'm going to do this same thing this winter. I spoke to Moementum about the retrofit, and he says it can be done relatively easy. The dash switches (headlight, wiper, defogger, and cig lighter) are in different positions. If your car is an original A/C car, you need the new in-dash vent also. Also hve to changethe gage lense (clear plastic piece). Other than that, it's a straight swap.
