PRetty much says it all. I plan on replacing the carpeting and just wondering how I remove the back and front seats?

All the seats are fairly easy. The front seats have 4 bolts holding them to the floor. Move the seat all the way back and look under for the front 2 bolts (1/2" socket or wrench). After removing the front 2, move the seat all the way forward and look for the back 2 bolts. They are probably under a piece of the carpet cutout. You will probably have to remove the seatbelt clip on the seat to get the seat completely out. To remove the rear seats, take the bottoms out first by moving the seat backwards with your feet or knees and then lifting up. Do the same to the other side and then there are 2 bolts holding the seat back in place. RH

The rear seat back is kinda hung on those two bolts. To remove, just push and lift up. The rear seat bottoms were a bitch in my '80 to remove. It took a long time to get those out. It was like having a baby, I kept pushing and yelling, harder and harder, til finally they came out!

Oh, and beware. There's no telling what you'll find under those seats! You may even find some money.

Don't forget to snatch a copy of your build sheet under the driver's seat cushion or behind the rear seat backs.
