Looking for the clear cover lens and black backing that surrounds the heater control levers in the dash. Anyone know where to get them, or do I just make a new black backing for it and forget the lens? It is not too bad, but scratched. Also, looking for the lower left and right dash heater vent assembly (non-A/C) with the directional fins. Any ideas? Thanks

HotRod: I polished up my lens with clear plastic polish (Meguiars) and made a new black backing from the glossy black cover of a spiral notebook purchased at Staples. The kind with the cardboard cover in different colors; cost a buck or two. Find one with a nice glossy finish, right hardness of cardboard and you got it. Used an Xacto knife to cut it out from my old one. If you need a template, let me know I could scan, fax or mail. Good Luck.

I made a new clear lens using 1/8 lexan cut on a milling machine. The a square file was used to finish the corners. The back ground was made by painting a .010 styrene sheet semi gloss black. White dry transfer letters were then applied to the black background. The results look good.

Be careful using the polish on the backside of the lens it will remove the white lettering.
