Hello. what is the "points correct" steering wheel in a 71 RS/SS 350? I know that the SS emblems trump the RS emblems on the exterior body. Do the SS internal emblems (which I think is the steering wheel only anyway) trump the rs emblems? Thanks for your time, have a great morning everyone!!

Yes, The SS emblem would replace the RS emblem on the horn shroud.

My books all say that the RS emblems are replaced on the exterior as well as the interior when the SS or Z28 option is paired with the RS.

On a 71, if you got the deluxe interior, you should have a thin wood grain insert in the plastic pad on the steering wheel. It will say "Camaro" on the right side, even if you have an SS. There is no SS steering wheel pad for a 71 Camaro with deluxe interior.

OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH, I got that steering wheel horn button! Woodgrain insert, "Camaro" written in silver script to the right. I'm wanting to sell if interested, email me.

For what it's worth - my 72 RS/SS 350 was built with the woodgrain instrument panel only. So my steering wheel has the SS in the center and no woodgrain insert.
