Originally 1973 Camaro V8 Points Distributor converted to HEI. I am now converting from HEI to a MSD Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run Chevrolet V8 Distributor with a Blaster 2 coil.

Questions:

1. The HEI has three wires, are they Positive, Negative (Tachometer), and Ground?

2. Should the HEI Positive wire go to the Positive terminal of the Blaster 2 coil?

3. Should the HEI Negative (Tachometer) wire go to the Negative terminal of the Blaster 2 coil?

4. Should the HEI Ground be connected to the MSD Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run Chevrolet V8 Distributor Ground?
