I'm sure that everyone has run into the same problem at one time or another. I'm starting to find more and more small plastic parts deteriorating and dont know where or if replacements are available. I recently drove my 70-Z and for the first time had the sun visor on the passenger side start flopping down as the wind through the open windows increased. Come to find that the small plastic end caps on both visor rods that lock into the center holder above the rearview mirror have turned to chalk. And just recently had the good shoulder belt holding clip (small clear plastic piece right above the center of the door)break off when I shut the door. The same clip on the opposite side was already gone when I bought the car. Its pretty sad to shut the door of your baby and see parts falling off. Its not that the cars a junker, it just was not made to last forever. While I'm at it, there is a dash shot of someone's car's interior on the screen as I'm typing wich brings to mind, does anyone make replacement vent registers for a early 70's camaro?

Anyone have any information, pieces, alternates, etc...?

Moementum has the replacement chrome vents under exclusive moementum parts on the first page. $37 a pop. . .ouch. The other issue is that on assembly they are "welded" into the dash (melted) I'm not sure how easy they would be to replace. As far as the other stuff, it is not reproduced, if you are referring to the rubber on the ends of the visor, look in the drapery department at Wally world you may find a substitute. Creativity and fabrication are part of the resto picture.
