ok so i have a pair of electric fans and a fuel pump to wire up. i have relays for both. im trying to figure out where to hook it up.

i have a ign. wire hooked up to the old fuel pump now that is in a good location. and would work for both the new pump and the fans and the electric choke. my question is can i hook up all three to this on ign. wire?.

my thought was to wire this (http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=partdetail.asp&part=PRF%2D70113) in up to that ign. wire and then wire the other three relays to this system.

I will post up some wiring diagrams in the morning. I will have to scan them first. There will be two power wires going to each relay. One low power from a switch to turn the relay on and off and one high power wire from the battery.

Are you going to have the fans and pump go live when you turn on the ignition or are you going to have switches in line? I run my fans through a switch that has power all the time. This way I can run the fans with the ignition off. (turn car off and fans can finish cooling till temp switch cuts out.) I also run a switch for my fuel pump so I can shut it down if I need to. Plus, since it is not marked, it acts as a theft deterent. My fuel pump switch is wired to a key-on circuit.

Back to your question. If you are using this on the low power side but want some fused protection, Yes, I would say this will be a good addition.
