redoing the interior of my car. i saw in the assembly manual and in a car on e-bay the cortesy lights. they are under the dash and comeon when you open the doors. where do i find a pair for my car, and what do they look like, i have never seen them.

The courtesy lights under the dash are very similar to the ones used in all GM cars in the 70s and early 80s. The easiest place to get them is from Caprices in wrecking yards. Just about every Caprice ever made has them.

this lights plug into theconnector for the door switch from what i have seen. is that coorect.

Yes, if you can get the complete harness from a wrecked car, it should just plug onto the door switches. GM made double prong adapters to accomodate the additional wiring, plus many cars already have an extra prong on one of the door switches to attach the wires to.

Back in '73 I had them in my '66 Cyclone GT and I painted them red??? Well I was young.

I bought some repos from npd. They attached to the double pronge driver door and single pronge passenger door. Power is feed throught the fuse panel. I already had the steel mounting brackets in place.
