These were taken yesterday. It is all most ready to paint. I have to pick the subframe up from the sandblaster on Monday. I talked to a guy about painting a couple days ago. I am so excited. I plan to put a different subframe on, just so it can roll. Then each panel will get painted off the car and put together once the subframe is back on and the engine/tranny is in.

POR 15 Done and suspension coming together. Progress at last.

Just put in front of the link you provided and at the end. I forgot to mention the http// has to be part of the link.

There is the yellow square in the tool bar at the top of the message box. Click on it. It will open a small window. Copy and paste you link into it and hit OK. Should work then.

You where trying to put the whole web page on. If a picture is hosted already. Right click it and select PROPERTIES at the bottom. The address of just the image will be there.

i having someone shoot the paint for me. My dad and me known the guy for long time and painted our cars in the past. He painted my 66 pickup and did awesome job!! But um...we're shooting a base/clearcoat the Antique White with factory black Z28 stripes...she's going to be pretty.:)

I love the orange one...how about some details on the engine.

The engine started out as a L88 Counter motor from Nickey Chevrolet of Chicago of which I still have the bill of sale for the engine. :)
Quick details are it is now bored .100 with a .250 stroke crank sporting Manley al rods and custom JE pistons for 15 to 1 comp. Some Dart 320 al heads and a custom Crower N2O grind cam. Motor dynoed at 870 Hp.
With a small 175 shot the car went 8.82 @ 155 and then the snow came. Will probably be racing with the NSCA again in Limited Street where I will step up the N2O to the 350 shot which should result in some low 8's....time will tell.

Here are some pics of my daily high school driver/show 81 z28. I just got done painting it about a month ago. It took my dad and i almost 2 months, but it paid off, we are both not body men. We did everything ourselves and it came out great. I am going to add 2 light metallic silver stripe on it this summer and i have chrome headligh/turn signal buckets to add.
