I just had a MSD digital 6 plus go bad after maybe 15 minutes of running. I did just complete a lot of welding on the car and had everything hooked up, which is what msd said did it in. Has anyone else had this happen or is their tech dept. covering their butts? I do have everything wired correctly as I am a freak about proper wiring. Any input is appreciated.

It is not a good idea to weld with the MSD still hooked up..It will damage it.

Anytime you do any welding or electrical repairs on a vehicle you should always disconnect the battery and accessories. I'd say the welding is what fried your MSD box alright. Hope you learned something from this experience.
