Can I run a new Choke Wire from this...

Maybe...? I don't know off-hand what that relay is for. If it is for the wiper motor, it will work.

I ran a new wire to the fuse block and hooked it to a connection marked "IGN".

It should only be live when the ignition is on.

IGN will work unless you didn't have HEI and used it for that....

...BUT...

The 12V switched on is correct. Don't want power unless the key is on...and there are a few other wires you could tap into if needed.

Check it first BUT the middle wire in the plug which feeds your wiper motor is hot with key only and you would likely not use the choke and wipers at the same time. I used the IGN spot in the fuse block. I have the electric choke AND the volt meter in my U14 cluster hooked there.

A test light or volt meter will find you some other sources. Do NOT use anything that is related to the ignition, coil or HEI
