Weather in Calgary has been great this week, it hit 17C today & was 18C on Tuesday. The ugly weather is supposed to start rolling in this weekend so I've been racking up the miles on the Camaro before it has to go down for the long sleep.
Tuesday I put about 100 miles on it after work, just cruising around catching strange looks from people & even tonight I took it for a shopping trip. I could have gone to the Canuck Tire less than a mile from my house but decided that the one on 64th Ave NE was a smarter choice(ie. longer drive).

Last year I parked the car in early Nov & started tearing it apart right away but this year I only am planning a few minor projects so there is no great hurry, I'm having too much fun!

Other than the Wet Coasters, anyone else still driving?

I envy you Greg, I put mine in storage last month so I had lots of room for the Vega and it's been beautiful since.Figures for me.lol

The only other bad part of driving this time of year is, traction is a joke. I don't think I've opened the secondaries in 2 weeks.:D

I left a 7-11 tonight & had problems not spinning the tires getting up to 30mph. It felt like I was at Race City on a Friday night, LOL.

No one in Ontario's getting in any "last miles"- Northen Ontario already had some snow earlier and Southern Ontario got hammered yesterday/today. It's not the snow that's the problem of course- but the salt that gets dumped everywhere.

West coast has been wet. Camaro might come out for trans testing here and there, but no tripping. Got the S10 out for nice days, and fast blasts up Island to Comox for occaisional non-automotive activity weekends.

Had a dump of snow, I gambled and didn't shovel the driveway, and was right for once. The bulk of that snow is gone and the streets are (relatively) dry. Kind of cold, in the minus territory, but not cold enough to get out the winter jacket yet. I no longer street drive the camaro, but am enjoying my new (to me) '04 Silverado extra cab 4x4, what a difference over my 1 ton 81 4x4. Command start is nice to avoid the morning chill.

Like Gregh, I live in Cagary and the weather has been beautiful. I was in the garage the other night and started it up thinking I was going for a cruise. I looked at it sitting on the wheel dollies thinking I am going to have to jack it up to remove the dollies. My lazy arse said no, so I just brought it up to temp and shut her down. I think she is in bed for the winter other than tinkering

I'm in ON. also. I was installing a new compressor in my garage last weekend, so I HAD to move the Z out. An hour later.......well, at least the garage got cleaned up.
Snowed here in Hammertown yesterday. They put more freakin' salt on the roads then snow. Needless to say, the Z won't be out 'till spring now.
Damn, summer goes by too fast. 1 month 'till Christmas.

We just got a skiff of snow tonight but it's -4C out.
Looking at overnight lows near -20C by mid week.

Me thinks the car's sleep cycle has started.
