View Full Version : Who is where/ Summer get together?
ACOOL74 01-20-2005, 09:58:00 PM What a day. Anything that could go wrong did go wrong today. Everything caught fire and all I had to put it out with was a can a of gasoline!!!!!
The beautiful weather made me start thinking of spring and summer and getting my Camaro out. Is there any interest in meeting at Chatfield or Cherry Creek Parks this summer like on Saturday or Sunday for a Camaro Get together? Picnic maybe , etc....?
bolding70 03-27-2005, 12:02:00 AM sounds great but i doubt i'll be ready
ZZ430 03-27-2005, 02:39:00 PM Sounds good, count me in.

Chad Lawton 03-28-2005, 10:44:00 PM Hi. I'm in Montrose. I am watching the board usually every couple of days. once in a while I am over your way, but usually cannot bring the Z28 because I am picking something up for construction to bting here. Attended the Canon City show with JohnnyMo last May. Just the two of us for 2nd genners in that show. Anyway, hope you guys do start to get together sometimes. I will post if I have a time to drive the Camaro over there.
hooch79z 03-28-2005, 11:06:00 PM I’m definitely interested. Presently, my 79 is not much to look at but with 300 miles on the tranny and engine, I sure am enjoying driving it around. A Saturday or Sunday afternoon in early Summer would be great. Chatfield is easy to get to as well.
How about late May? The week end before Memorial day? Or…?
ZZ430 03-28-2005, 11:39:00 PM Chatfield in late May sounds like a plan.

ACOOL74 03-31-2005, 11:00:00 PM May sounds great. How about Saturday May 21st @ Chatfield to meet around 10-11 am? Would we need to reserve a space or just show up? I think I remember it is $5-$10 bucks? for a day pass to get in to the park unless you have a park pass. If the weather is nice I would be willing to bring my camaro. Will anyone else be bringing theirs?
hooch79z 04-01-2005, 09:42:00 PM Sounds great. Chatfield May 21 10 or 11 am. Unless there is a whole bunch of us, I think we would be ok by not reserving a space. I’m only a few minutes away so I would definitely drive the Z. Mine is nothing to look at. From the pictures, we will need ya’lls for the looks.
ZZ430 04-01-2005, 11:29:00 PM 85 miles for me.
I'll be driving my 70 rain or shine....I'm funny like that....I just love to clean hahaha....
Anyway, see y'all May 21st 10 AM.
Don

JOHNNYMO 04-04-2005, 08:26:00 PM I live in Canon City. Its a 130 miles north to Denver for us. I may be able to do it. I run a business, so its hard to get away. I'll play it by ear for now & say its a possibility......... http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/cool.gif
mike d 04-08-2005, 05:42:00 PM Don't mean to "crash" your site. Just been monitoring the Colorado scene to see what's happening...an outside possibility of a relocation.
Would love to chat with you guys about the area around Golden/Westminster (schools, places to live etc.) if my relocation plans continue. Hope to chat with you guys going forward. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
ZZ430 04-08-2005, 08:38:00 PM Welcome Mike, we're glad to have you aboard.
I don't live in Golden, but I can say it's a nice "little" town. I attend a car show there at "Heritage square"...lots of history there. (And Golden is the home of Coors beer..lol)
Any specific questions?
Don
