I went to look at that 77 Camaro Parts car finally. It was in Orchards and I swear there were no less than 8 or 9 1980 something firebirds up there in peoples yards.
I have to say i'd love to have one but just don't have room.

On a side note, it looks like I am going to take that 77 after all but am only stripping parts I'm not going to haul it off. The parts are in OK shape but not as pristine as i'd hoped. Apparently it has new floorboards in it but they are not welded in just screwed in (this should tell you something about the car).
Anyway if someone needs floorboards for a 77 let me know and I will let you know when I'm going to show up to strip the car. You can meet me there and take em away (for free) if you want them since I won't use them and am too lazy to strip them off for the swapmeet.

If anyone else needs the nose piece (radiator support forward) let me know, or the back glass, or bumpers; we can work out a cheap price.

I still haven't decided if it's worth the effort to cut out the quarter panels or not.

I need the floor under the rear seats. Let me know when you are going. I'll help you strip it down.

I didn't really see any Camaro's around, It was like I was driving around in Pontiac gang territory... Ha haa.

I know it's not the most sought after car but I have always wanted a 70 to 73 straight six car with a three speed. The only one i've ever seen was back in high school.
Maybe someday I will run across another one.

That sounds great Brad, Hopefully I will firm up the trade today or tomorrow and make plans to go to Vancouver the weekend after this one coming. I guess that would be the 19th or 20th.

Hey JDB... Any possibility I could borrow your sawsall that day? I'm still on the fence but may end up cutting out the quarters if they look OK and I have plenty of time. Not sure I want to mess with brake lines and such though so I may just go the easy route and take everything that can be unbolted.

Sure don't see why not just let me know which day and I'll bring it to work with me since you will be in Orchards anyways.

You rock JDB... I will look at the body one more time before deciding for sure if I am going to spend the energy to cut stuff up.
I was dissapointed the rearend is drum brakes. I will probably just let that go with the car.
Another question for you jdb.. If your tow friends were to tow it off does it need to be a rolling chassis? or could I take the rear off?

As long as it has a title (law is being tough right now) a rear end is not needed http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif

Right on... I haven't actually seen the title but the guy says he has it and it's clear.
